The coastal town Cabanas da Tavira hosts on its tennis grounds a tennis camp suitable for all cathegories of players, including the families with children. Cabanas da Tavira is situated in resortPedras da Rainha in the pitoresque province of Algarve in southern Portugal, cca 40 km easterly from the airport in Faro.
Algarve is 200 km long and 50 km broad shore range, from two sides surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. This "European Africa" was the most remote european area the Arabs conquered. The whole region is, thanks to its climate and facilities, a touristic paradise with the most beautiful beaches, sport grounds (tennis, golf, watersports), hotels and holiday centers.
The nice Tennis Club "Pedro Pereira Tennis Academy (foto)with 6 + 2 tennis courts, all facilities, clubroom and a restaurant is situated in a still part of the town and is 10 minutes distant of the sea and its sandy beaches by walk.
Comfortable accommodation is reserved in appartments right next to the tennis club. Inside the area at the appartments there is a bar and a pool, where you can always refresh yourself.
The full board is provided right in the club restaurant or you can provide it by yourself in the appartments, which would decrease the costs of the tennis camp by 130 Euro. The food store is near the appartments.
The two - phased training will take place under the leading of experienced, qualified coaches, in various groups. It shall be adapted on player ´s efficiency and abilities and extented with stretching, relaxation exercises and additional sports. It will be focused on the improvement of all tennis techniques, includingthe movement of legs, coordination and tactics.
For beginners, we will teach them the essentials of tenis technique - from the spot but also in the move, the movements on the court and the self-control and the right placement of every single tennis hit. All that we will put together into a whole of the tennis art.
Advanced players will improve all their techniques, from the spot and in the move, including the positioning, the power and the right placement in the tennis match. They will get to know the types of rotations and its usage. In the second half of the tennis camp we will get to know special tennis hits, for example dropshot, to approach, hits out of the court, lob, spinvolley etc. All hits you can try in the training of match situation and then in training-matches.
At the end of the tennis camp there will be "Tennis - olympics" and Tennis Tournament for all players.
In your free time you can go play golf in the 15 minutes by walk distant golf club, you can go cycling to a waterfall, play paintball and the children can try the canoe-ride. Swimming in the sea, relaxing on the sandy beach, walk through the town or swimming in the pool at the appartments, that all you can try there.
